Outstanding customer service was the key to us winning the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) contract for its annual conferences over the next three years.

The RCN appointed us following an extensive and rigorous tendering process. The organisation had previously been using one of the big industry leaders in shell scheme supply and had felt the service it offered had become impersonal.

Speaking about the RCN’s reasons for appointing us, Steven Jenkinson, assistant conference & events manager, said: “We were impressed by the firm’s attention to detail, innovations and ability to reduce environmental impact.

“As a team we felt that we would enjoy working with Joe Manby Limited as the organisation is both professional and established whilst remaining an approachable and customer focussed family business.”

We will supply exhibition shell schemes, design and build of bespoke feature areas, as well as electrical installation and graphic services at the RCN’s annual congresses and conferences until November 2015.

The first annual congress took place at ACC Liverpool in 2013, while the Conferences are held at difference venues around the country.
